I am no hero as I do not put my life on the line to gain any awareness or an achievement. I will give my life to protect the things I love, my country, my family, friends, and god. I am no hero, and I prefer not to go. When a citizen needs something, I am there to provide such help. When the time comes, I will not be afraid to protect those who are weak. To some, I may be a killing machine without emotions while to some I am a lover, a father, brother, sister, mother, or giver, but I am only a person who believes safety for my citizens is essential. A hero is someone willing to give up anything without praise including giving up their existence so others can exist. When danger is present, I will do my duty with the best of my abilities, and will not give in to my desire so my friends, family, country, and god will be safe from any immediate threats.

Semper Fidelis — Always Faithful.

The Marine’s Motto

We will give the clothing off our back or give our last ammo to our brothers in arms, but we will not give our lives to those who seek to provide evil against our citizens without a fight. Our citizens are our main worries at which we will serve at the highest honor we can achieve. Without a doubt, we are no longer afraid of the threats arising and will do what we have to protect those who are weak.

A person admired for achievements and noble qualities.

Dictionary

The armed forces of the United States are the pure definition of a hero even though they prefer to go by nothing close to a hero. To our eyes, they are a hero. Our men and women do things some of us are too afraid to do ourselves. Some will devote their lives to our freedom. It hurts me the most when I hear about a Soldier, a Marine, a Navy member, a Coast Guard member, or an Air Force member have passed away. Without a doubt, I know those who gave all while give some would do it again if they had too. Without their sacrifice, we would not be free as we over are in the world. To some people freedom is free, but freedom is not free.

Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it.

Dwight Eisenhower

I, myself, have great appreciation to our men and women who serve and will consecrate so much to give me freedom. I want to show my respect to our armed forces, by saying thanks for everything you do. Without your sacrifice, I would not be enjoying the freedom given appreciate the ability to spend my time with my loved ones and enjoy my job I am doing to provide for my family.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
